A sophisticated backstage comedy, which opens on the night of a preview of a new play, “The Care and Treatment of Roses.”  It shows the strange world that is live theater; a world of hard work, instant loves and hates, easily bruised egos, and petty concerns. Actors are lost in one  interpretation  of their roles and the script,  while the director has his own ideas. Did we mention the problems that arise from faulty props, missed lines and really, really bad reviews? Now add in those dreadful opening night ‘jitters’, which throws the cast even more off balance.
