How far will someone go to have a hit play? There is a play called Deathtrap that has been written by Clifford and, by all accounts, it sure to be a big hit on Broadway – a sure thing. Enter Sydney, a one-hit playwright who’s spent the last eighteen years looking for his next hit. The money’s running short and so are Sydney’s nerves. Clifford accepts an invitation to work with Sydney on the play, but will he survive the night? And is it really Clifford who’s in danger? With a fortune at stake, a psychic on the case, a heart-troubled wife, and a suspicious lawyer, who will wind up with Deathtrap in the end?
